Kotak Mutual Fund has launched NFO – Kotak Focused Equity Fund. The fund is open for subscription on 25th June 2019 and will close on 9th July 2019. It is an open-ended scheme investing in a mixed portfolio of 30 stocks in large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap companies.

Investment Objective:

The objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments across market capitalization of up to 30 companies.

Asset Allocation:

The asset allocation of the scheme will be as follows:

About the Fund Managers:

The fund managers for this fund will be Ms. Shibani Kurian and Mr. Harish Krishnan. 

Ms. Shibani Kurian
Ms. Shibani Kurian joined Kotak Mutual Fund in 2007. Her key responsibilities include fund management and equity research. Prior to working with the AMC, she was working with Dawnay Day AV India Advisors Pvt Ltd and UTI AMC. 

Mr. Harish Krishnan
Mr. Harish Krishnan has 14 years of experience spread over Equity Research and Fund Management. Prior to joining Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, he was based out of Singapore and Dubai, managing Kotak’s offshore funds. He has also worked at Infosys Technologies Ltd in his earlier stint.
